OUR PRESIDENT, Dr. Ben Read '32 has presented the Dartmouth Cup to the Boys High School of Atlanta, which, this year, won permanent possession of it.

On Wednesday, December 31, we held a luncheon at Davison-Paxon's. We had as our guests four Georgia undergraduates and three fathers. There were William N. Banks Jr. '45 and his father, Bud Dutton '42 and his father and E. G. Ruffner '42 and his father. William N. Turpin '44 was there, but his father was unable to be with us. We missed Walter Elcock Jr. '42 and his father. Walter Jr. had to report at the Naval Reserve office for a physical examination, and Walter Sr. '12 was so busy at Rockmart that he could not be with us. Joe Hammond who plans to enter Dartmouth next fall, and his father, were also our guests. With ten members of the club present at the luncheon, we had a total attendance of nineteen.
