ON OCTOBER 17, a luncheon meeting was held in the Tulsa Club by the Dartmouth men in Tulsa to organize a new alumni group in eastern Oklahoma. Because of the increase in the number of alumni over the state, it has been found desirable to split the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Oklahoma into two organizations with headquarters at Tulsa and Oklahoma City.

After enjoying a tasty lunch, complete with meat, and catching up on the activities of the group since the last gathering, a well-rehearsed business session was run through with all present agreeing to the new organization with appropriate dues and a full set of officers, proposed by Jack Bates '10. Ray Hall '41 will lead the organization during the coming year with Chuck Clark '33 as Vice-President, JackFerguson '15, Secretary, and K. O. Herutig '27, Treasurer. Just to be sure that everything would be thoroughly taken, care of, an executive committee was provided, consisting of the officers and Chuck March '33, Ed Patterson '41 and Dick Pringle '46.

It is planned to hold both luncheon and dinner meetings during the year at which the sons of Hanover will strengthen their ties with one another and with the College, through contact with members of the Dartmouth official family. After discussion of outstanding matters such as the football season and the Hopkins Center Project, the meeting broke up.

Attending the inaugural gathering were: Philip N. Thomas '03, George D. Terrien '06, John W. Bates '10, John L. Ferguson 'l5, L. King Dickason '26, Frederick C. Fellingham '27, Kenneth O. Herwig '27, Charles T. Clark Jr. '33, Charles H. March Jr. '33, William R. Grimshaw Jr. '40, Raymond Hall Jr. '41, Edward R. Patterson '41, William N. Holway '42, Sidney W. Patterson '42, Joseph R.
