GRADUATE FELLOWSHIPS FOR advanced study next year have been awarded to one senior and two recent graduates of the College, it was announced on March 11 by President Hopkins. Recipients of these fellowships, each carrying a grant of $900, are Frederick Jerome Brutschy '42 of White Plains, N. Y.; Chester Ridlon Berry '40 of Dorchester, Mass.; and Charles Burton Arthur '34 of Walpole, Mass.
Brutschy, winner of the George E. Chamberlin Fellowship, will study chemistry at Harvard University; Berry, winner of the James B. Richardson Fellowship, will study physics at Cornell University; and Arthur will use the Fred DeMerritte Barker Fellowship to study history at Harvard University.
