RAYMOND ROBB MARSDEN 'OB (Thayer '09), Dean of Thayer School from 1925 to 1933, died in Wilmington, Del., on March 11 after a short illness and was buried in Manchester, Vt., on March 15. He was 57 years old and was serving as project engineer of the Atlas Powder Company, a position held since 1940.

Mr. Marsden served as instructor in the Thayer School for two years after his graduation, leaving to go into professional practice as civil engineer in charge of various projects in New England, New York, Virginia, Ontario and Quebec. After World War work with the Atlas Powder Company, he returned to the Thayer School as a professor of engineering in 1919, finally being named Dean in 1925. He held that post until 1933 when he left Dartmouth to serve as acting director of the Emergency Relief Administration of the State of New Hampshire.
