Andrew M. Wood '42 (T and May's boy), was graduated as salutatorian of his class, and has been awarded the Percival Wood Clement prize of $500.00 for an essay on the Constitution entitled A More PerfectUnion. This is the first time the prize has been awarded since 1932, as the trust created by the late Governor Clement of Vermont has had insufficient funds until this year. The prize is awarded for "The best thesis in the support of the Constitution of the United States of America, as established March 4 AD 1789, and the first ten amendments thereto." Andy Wood majored in Democratic Institutions and was a Phi Beta Kappa student. He was a member of the Council on Student Organizaations, Green Key, the Band, and Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.

When the new $250,000 municipal court house was dedicated in Brookline, Mass., this summer, the friends of Judge Daniel A. Rollins, presiding justice, also took occasion to recognize his 35 years of service as head of the court by presenting him with a silver trophy, an honor well deserved.
