A. A. Bacon, after spending so many years at the eastern end of the Mediterranean, settled down, as you know, in Amesbury, Mass. But recent advices from him state that he went to St. Petersburg, Fla., in January of this year, got the Florida bug, and began to feel that there was no special reason why he and family should shorten their lives in the New England winters, when there was all that Florida sun. So he bought a place in St. Petersburg, sold the Amesbury place, and bought a summer home on Panther Pond, Maine, which he says is perfect. I agree with him because I have spent many happy summer holidays there. It is twenty two miles out of Portland.

His winter address will be 235 Tenth Ave. North, St. Petersburg, Fla. From about May 15 to October 15 it will be Raymond, Maine, which is where Panther Pond is.

Warren W. Hart, who was a member of our class for a short time and then joined '98, became a lawyer in Boston where he had an office at 53 State Street. He was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club and wrote at least one excellent article in Appalachia. He died August 28 in Bryantsville at the age of seventy five. Doubtless an obituary written by his class secretary will appear in In Memoriam.
