Announcement can now be made that the Matt Jones fall round-up of the class of '94 will be held on November 12 (the eve of the Cornell Game) at the University Club, 40 Trinity Place, Boston. This is a time when every member of the class comes who can, and those who can't come, write.

Mrs. Matt B. Jones has sold the house on Ledges Road, Newton, in which she and Matt lived for so many years, and where the fall round-ups used to be held, and is living at Hotel Sheraton, Bay State Road, in Boston, for the winter.

Word comes indirectly from Punch Rollins about his victory garden. His wife is head gardener, Punch being her assistant. They had three crops of some vegetables. Punch's specialty has been with fruit trees—just the few in their yard—and these last years he has worked a good deal on their house. Health of self and wife is good. Punch's second son is an Army captain in Alaska.

Frank Trow seems also to have scored on a victory garden. Here is what he says: "Sweet corn, bush beans, pole beans, potatoes, carrots, cukes, squash, cabbage, turnips, tomatoes (3 doz.) and quite a flower garden. We have canned already 154 jars and expect to double that before the season is over, besides jellies, jams, pickles, etc., etc. Keeps the old man humping but seems to be good for me."

Here's what some of the boys say about the fiftieth-year reunion:—Curly Bartlett: "Please put me down as favoring a 50-year reunion war or no war, altho personally I think the war will be over before then"; Carl Hoskins: "Let's have our reunion as usual and make it a good one;" "Curt": "At present I am in favor of a reunion in '44—would like to see the youngsters;" Billy Wallis: "We'll have only one 50-year occasion so let's celebrate;" "Luce": "Here's hoping this, no these, cussed wars will be over before June '44. With all the war work going on in Hanover it might be embarrassing to the college to be obliged to furnish entertainment to a horde of old-timers;" Mart Sherman: "Yes, war or no war, I am in favor of holding our 50th reunion;" Smalley: "A 50th-year reunion come hell or high water, unless the college itself shuts down!"

Please remember that the round-up on November is will in some way set the stage for our fiftieth!
