The class felicitates the parents, John Richardson class of '41 and Mrs. Richardson, and the grandparents, Ed and Mrs. Richardson, on the birth of John Godfrey Richardson on Monday, October 4, 1943,. at Richardson House, Boston.

John Sr. is a member of an Army Specialized Training Unit and is studying at Haverford College, Haverford, Pa.

Ed's brother, Frederick Richardson, and Mrs. Richardson of Dover have two sons in the Navy. Frederick S. Richardson '43 is an ensign, stationed at Portland, Oregon, and Charles C. Richardson '44 is a Midshipman, in training at the School of Business Administration at Harvard.

John H. Bell is enjoying his position as headmaster of Hillsboro (N. H.) High School. John and Mrs. Bell reside in Hillsboro during the school year and spend their summers at their residence in Washington, N. H.

Arlington I. Clow, superintendent of schools in Haverhill, Mass., is busy preparing for the participation of his teachers in issuing the new ration books.

Harry B. Preston is teaching English and history at Keene Teachers' College. His courses at Dartmouth under Professor Charles F. Richardson and Professor Herbert D. Foster gave him excellent preparation for his duties. He is a close student of "guide, philosopher and friend" to his students.

We missed the customary visit with C. C. Hills this last summer. C. C. is busy selling real estate to people who enjoy the beauties of rural life in northern Vermont and New Hampshire. He still retains the mens sanain sano corpore.

Harry Peyser is very busy in his legal" practice in Portsmouth, which has had a marked growth as a result of the expansion of the Portsmouth Navy Yard. Harry continues as a valued member of the Portsmouth school board.

Dr. Andy and Mrs. MacMillan report a delightful July spent at Nantucket Island.

Jake Smith paid a short business visit to Concord in July. He seemed in the best of health.

News from '05 men and their children would be most welcome. We should like to have also the latest news of '05 sons and daughters in the Armed Services. The deadline for news is the tenth of each month, for printing in the number of the following month.
