On May 10, 1946, the Annual Five Classes Dinner was held at Schrafft's Restaurant at 16 West St., Boston. There were 71 present, of whom 14 were 'O5 men. Governor Channing Cox 'Ol presided in his customary happy manner. Don Cameron '33 represented the College and spoke effectively and entertainingly. The 'O5 men present were: Roger Brown, Fred Chase, Bill Clough, Judge Jim Donnelly, Bob Harding, who effectively managed the local arrangements, Sliver Hatch, Tom Heady, Frank McCabe, Roy Parkinson, Cliff Pierce, George Proctor, Midge Reid, A. C. Smith and Cy White. Your secretary regrets that a business engagement made it impossible for him to attend. Bob Harding provided the information for this report.

The next dinner of the five classes will be on Friday, May 9, 1947.

Plans are going forward for the '05 Fortieth Class Reunion in Hanover on July 19, 20 and 21. Bob Harding reported great interest among the '05 men at the Five Classes Dinner on May 10 in Boston.

There are being sent from Hanover to all '05 men this week a brochure on Reunions, and dormitory reservation cards. Here's hoping that you will return your reservation card promptly to Max Norton, College Bursar. United Airlines planes may be chartered from Chicago and New York to the new West Lebanon Airport. Planes will leave Chicago Friday, July 19, at 9 A.M., Central Standard Time and New York at a P.M., Eastern Standard Time. On Sunday, July 21, the planes make a return trip from West Lebanon at 3:30 P.M., E.S.T., arriving at New York at 5 P.M., E.S.T. and in Chicago at 10 P.M., C.S.T. The planes carry 21 passengers and will require full loads. It is impossible at this time to announce the dormitory which will be assigned to '05 men in Hanover. We are hoping that it will be Hitchcock.

C. C. Hills has reserved the caterer we had six years ago for a picnic supper on July 20 on U. S. Route No. 5 about one mile south of Norwich.

A most welcome letter from Chester M. .Lawrence of 2209 N. W. Everett St., Portland, Oregon, has been received. Chet reports a fine Dartmouth night in Portland with Dean Neidlinger as the effective speaker. Bob Fiske '04 and King Benton '06, from Hood River, Oregon, shared a table with Chet. Chet provides the sad news of the passing of Carl Kelly, his fraternity brother, in Mill City, Oregon. The sympathy of the Class is extended to Mrs. Kelly and the three sons. Notice will be found in the In Memoriam section.
