Dartmouth closed one of its most successful gridiron seasons in years by overwhelming Princeton, 42 to 13, in Palmer Stadium on November 20. The victory gave the Indians a 1943 record of six wins and one loss, the latter a 7-6 defeat at the hands of Penn.
Against Princeton, the Big Green scored in every period. Larry Bartnick and Red Mangene paced the ground attack: and Don Kasprzak continued to live up to his reputation as the East's leading passer, tossing, his 11th touchdown aerial of the season and also contributing a 31 -yard scoring romp. John Monahan, Dartmouth's candidate for Ail-American end, took a short touchdown pass from Tom Donavan and also turned in a fine defensive performance.
Bartnick and Mangene each scored on long runs, A 1 Russell caught two touchdown passes, and Monahan and Kasprzak added tallies five and six.
Donavan had a perfect conversion record with four out of four, and Jim Kelley added the other two points.
