DARTMOUTH IN PORTRAIT, pictorial calendar of the College which appears each December, this year will feature a hitherto unpublished poem by Robert Frost '96, Dartmouth's new Ticknor Fellow in the Humanities, and thereby promises to be a sought-after addition to Frostiana. The poem, entitled In the LongNight, and a new photograph of the famous American poet will form an introduction to the twelve Dartmouth views which follow in seasonal sequence and illustrate the calendar months. A few appropriate lines from Frost's well-known poems will be printed for each month.
No definite date has been set by Dartmouth College Publications for the appearance of "Dartmouth in Portrait," but the calendar is expected to be ready around the first of December, according to John W. Little '45, its editor-manager. Copies are priced at $1.10, including mailing charges, and may be ordered by writing to "Dartmouth in Portrait," Parkhurst Hall, Hanover, N. H. All profits from the calendar will go to the 1944 Alumni Fund.
