"Always be a good sport and be ready to take as much as you give," is the advice Army Lt. Donald W. Erion '36 writes to his infant son, whom he has never seen, in a letter published in an Albany, N. Y., paper. Stationed in Sicily, Erion confides that "the kicking around" he has done since going overseas last fall has made him "see things a lot more clearly.

"Speaking in a broad sense," he continues, "there are a very few things in life which are truly worthwhile—love, friendship, religion and self-respect. When you read this you will be too young to understand love, but when you do find out, I am sure you will agree with me that love is the greatest happiness factor on earth. Be yourself and people will always like you."
