Herb Rainie was elected President of the Dartmouth College Alumni Association of Merrimack County, N. H., at the annual meeting held December go.

Lt. Nickerson Blood, Elizabeth's and Bob's oldest son, was killed in an airplane accident on January 31. Nick was an instructor at the Army flying field and was on a routine flight when the plane crashed about a mile from the Army field. I know that I speak for the whole class when I say that our sincerest sympathy goes out to Elizabeth and Bob in their loss.

Misch Ailing, who has been ill in a Boston hospital since the first part of December, is now in St. Petersburg, Florida, trying to recuperate from two operations.

Jack Kingsbury's daughter Joyce was married on January 16 to Dr. Herbert G. Dickie Jr., in Albany, New York. George Boynton's son, Morris, has announced his engagement to Miss Mary Elizabeth Fogg, of Melrose, Mass.

For the past year Freddie Welch has been President of the Dept. of Washington Reserve Officers Association. He is still sore at being put on the inactive reserve list because he couldn't bend over and touch his finger tips to the floor.

On Wednesday, January 20, seven '06ers met for dinner at the Dartmouth Club and a most enjoyable time was had by all. Ned French, joe Nuelle, Rannie Morse, T. Brown, Ned Bullard, Thurlow Gordon and your secretary talked far into the night about everything under the sun.
