1906

A member of the Class of 1906 has a record which is hard to believe. Randall B.Cooke was born on May 13, 1883 in a house on South Avenue in Whitman, Mass., and he lived in that same house until he died on July 30, 1970. He never married but lived alone with a housekeeper.

Walter Powers writes that he has a new address: he is now living at 1 Louisburg Square, Boston, Mass. 0218.

With all modesty your Secretary and Class Agent quotes from a letter from Cliff Jordan '45, executive secretary of the Alumni Fund: "A special word of congratulations is in order for you and the Class of 1906 Fellowship for a new record in participation which you compiled and for the heartening fact that 1906 continues to do more than its share in supporting Dartmouth through the Alumni Fund, both in donors and in dollars. We are grateful to the many 1906 classmates who gave last spring and also to the goodly number of widows and other relatives who supported the Fund through the Memorial Gifts program." May I add" my thanks to each and every one in 1906 who helped to attain our goal.
