BOASTING PHENOMENAL SUCCESS thus far, the 1943 Alumni Fund this month enters upon the Tune homestretch in its campaign to reach, and surpass, the $200,000 mark tor the nrst time in Fund history. Below is printed the May 17 report of Fund headquarters, showing a total of $124,077 from 5,758 contributors—figures which probably will be left far behind by the time this issue of the MAGAZINE appears. The daily inpouring of mail continues at 304 Parkhurst Hall, indicating that the 1943 Fund Committee is meeting with success in its efforts to get more gifts and bigger gifts this year to offset the loss of contributions from the many alumni in service who are inaccessible to their class agents' appeals. Feature of the past month s Fund activities was the mailing to all alumni of the Committee's second general message, A Part in Something That Shall Endure."
Following is the May 17 standing of the classes on the basis of percentage of contributors.
