Thayer Elects Overseer

PRESIDENT HOPKINS HAS announced the election of Frank E. Cudworth '01 to the Board of Overseers of the Thayer School for a four-year term, beginning in May, 1943. Mr. Cudworth was nominated by the Thayer Society and has previously filled the unexpired term of the late A. C. Tozzer '02, for many years an Overseer of the School.

At the present time office engineer for the Shipbuilding Division of the WalshKaiser Company, of Providence, Mr. Cudworth has had a varied and active career in civil engineering. He has been associated with a number of private firms and has worked on municipal projects for the Federal government, the City of New York, the City of Medford, and the United States Navy. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Thayer Society of Civil Engineers, and the Brooklyn Engineers' Club.
