DARTMOUTH-IN-PORTRAIT, 1945, representing the high point in the series of Dartmouth calendars in pictorial freshness and charm, is now in production for a December 1 publication date, according to Albert I. Dickerson, chairman of the Dartmouth College Publications Committee.
The work of three alumni photographers is included in the 1945 calendar along with selections from the well-known local studios. Sidney C. Hayward '26, Secretary of the College, has contributed the cover picture—a fresh angle shot of the Dartmouth Hall cupola in winter. Frank S. Coffin '24 has contributed a White Church picture for November, and a striking duckboards picture by W. Cutting Johnson '33 was chosen for March. The Safier Studio is the largest single contributor to the calendar with four pictures, including an especially interesting sunrise view of the campus.
As usual, the income from the calendar will go as a direct credit to the Alumni Fund.
