The secretary has filed with the New England Historical Genealogical Society, 9 Ashburton Place, Boston, Butterfield's '97 class report dated 1933, which is the main repository of information about our class, and my recent class report of November 1942. The Society would be pleased to receive reports of other Dartmouth classes.

Day's address is now 73, Bth Ave., Brooklyn, N. Y. Wallace's address is now 90-33, 197th St., Hoi lis, N. Y.

The secretary has received a printed illuminated form letter or memorial bearing the English royal coat of arms and signed Elizabeth R., thanking foster parents of English evacuees. In addition to the courtesy involved, it is interesting to note the survival—the only survival in England —of the early universal custom of having merely one name, the given name. With the exception of royalty everyone is now known by at least two names, a given name and a surname.

Secretary and Treasurer, 53 State St., Boston, Mass.
