DUE TO THE TEMPO of the times for those still on civilian duty and the heavy in roads of Selective Service, we have reduced our frequency of luncheon meetings to the first Tuesday of each month only.
Bill King '33, is due for induction but has applied for a commission in the USNR and has passed preliminary aptitude tests, etc. Jack O'Brion '32, was called for induction, February 1, but was deferred.
Captain Tom Colt '26, was still instructing Marine Air Corps at last report. "Kip" Chase '3O, on duty in the south Pacific with the Army Air Corps has recently been promoted to major from captain, and has received the Army Air Medal. Lt. Art Perkins '28, is still reported in England with the Army Camouflage Corps. Lieutenant (jg) Frank Lowden '37, has not reported to us since leaving Richmond.
Doc VanderHoof '01, is back with us after a very serious illness. Charlie Milham '06, our Club founder, organizer and main life blood for many years has left Williamsburg to get really close to the College—now residing in Hanover—so we expect him to keep us posted on Hanover highlights.
Election o£ officers was in order at the ann ual dinner meeting held last fall on Dartmouth Night at the historical Half Way House. Charlie Howe '01 was elected presi dent, Harry Woleben '83, vice-president and Len Dunn '27 carries on as secretary-treasurer.
