Herbie Thyng's address is now Pittsfield, N. H. When I got out the class report in '42, Herbie's address was Barnstead, N. H. In order to see how great a change in locale this is I got out my atlas and find that Barnstead is some miles northwest of Rollinsford, right near Barrington where Bill Ham came from, and that Pittsfield is some miles northeast of Concord, N. H. Oddly enough this makes Barnstead and Pittsfield close together so Herbie really lives about where he did, but you put different words on an envelope. He is still in the insurance business.

Both of his sons are in the Service. Charles is a captain in the Coast Artillery, now stationed in the Hawaiian Is.ands. Harrison is a lieutenant colonel in command of the Naples Airdrome near Fort Myers, Florida, where young fighter pilots are trained in gunnery and combat work before going overseas.

On December 6, 1943, Foss completed twenty-five years as general secretary of the Pennsylvania State Chamber of Commerce. During these twenty-five years the state has made considerable progress, and the directors of the Chamber did right to take official notice of George's contribution to it, referring to him in a formal memorial as "Dean of State Chamber Secretaries."

Balch has recently been made a life member of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers.
