Harry Boynton Preston, who teaches English and history at Keene (N. H.), Teachers College, recently received an earned M. A. Degree from Dartmouth. Harry is one of the most effective and popular teachers at the Keene institution. Special recognition was given to Harry at the College in recognition of this honor.

Through an unfortunate oversight, the names of Charley Bennett 'OB, and Roger Hill 'OB, were not included among the Dartmouth Detroiters who hail from New Hampshire. Roger Hill comes from Northfield, N. H., and Charlie Bennett is a native of Plymouth, N. H.

Charles B. Sylvester is a teacher in the Somerville, Mass., High School. His address is 5 Washington Avenue, Cambridge 40, Mass.

Congratulations to Fletcher and Mrs. Hatch and the parents, on the birth of a grandson, Fletcher A. Hatch 111, to Lt. Fletcher A. Hatch 11, and Mrs. Hatch, at Reno, Nevada, on March 17, 1944. Fletcher A. Hatch II is a lieutenant in the Air Transport Command.

The youngest daughter of Fletcher and Mrs. Hatch, Dolita E. Hatch USNR, was married to Frank E. Little USN at the Naval Air Station at Jacksonville, Florida, on March 25, 1944. The best wishes of the class are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Little.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Merrill (Marjorie McMillan) have recently bought a residence in Weymouth where they now live. They have a daughter Marjorie Lee Merrill, who is about a year old. Her arrival placed Andy and Mrs. McMillan, Joe and Mrs. Merrill among the honorable group of '05 grandparents. Best wishes to all.

Stillman Batchellor, rancher and orchardist of Venado, Calif., is hoping to lease his large prune and apple orchards to a reliable person. Stillman finds it difficult to look after them in these days of shortage of help. Stillman's daughter Eloise is teaching at the ElmwoodFranklin School, a private school in Buffalo, N. Y.

Miss Batchellor visited relatives in Franklin, N. H., during the Christmas holidays.

Lafayette and Mrs. Chamberlin are thrice grandparents. Each of their three daughters has one child. There are two grandsons and one granddaughter. The parents of the latest grandchild are Lt. Stanley Edward Neill '34, and Mrs. Priscilla Chamberlin Neill. Their son Stanley Edward Neill Jr. was born on March 23, 1944, at Phillips House, Boston. Felicitations to all.
