Lyman M. Drake '18, recently reelected to carry on his work for underprivileged children as president of the Foundation of the Union League Club, has received the Chicago Sun's "salute" for his work of eighteen years' standing with the Foundation. A staff of fifty workers operates under his direction in two centers in Chicago, and a camp near Salem, Wisconsin. More than 4,300 young people have had benefits from this organization which, since 1920, has received more than a million dollars from its members for the maintenance of its work. Mr. Drake, who joined the Union League Club in 1926, was treasurer of it for eleven years. He is also active in the affairs of the Chicago Association of Commerce. An insurance executive, he lives at 1 Briar Lane with his wife Margaretta and two children, Lyman, eight, and Barbara, five.
