Arctic Lecturer

THE DARTMOUTH COLLEGE lecture series for the summer term opened July 18 with a lecture by Vilhjalmur Stefansson, famous .Arctic explorer, who spoke on "The Future of the Arctic." The lecture was held outdoors in the new Stadium Theater and drew a huge audience.

An outdoor summer pop concert was also held in the stadium on July 13, with the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra and the Latin American team of Teresita and Emilio Osta performing. The summer series will also include Donald Dickson, baritone, and the Trapp Family Singers.
