Reynolds spent a week in Hanover lasl June Mrs. Hardy and I spent the first day of October with the Hiltons at their farm in North Tewksbury. Their eldest daughter Katherine (Mrs. Bradley), who lives next door, came in for bridge. Mr. Bradley has jusl brought out quite a wonderful new geography, published by Ginn and Cos. Called on Vic Salford at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is recovering well from an operation which, it seems, many elderly men have to undergo. Mrs. Safford is well. They spent the summer as usual at Woods Hole.
