V-12 Magazine

THE FIRST NAVY V-12 issue of the DARTMOUTH ALUMNI MAGAZINE appeared in January. The special 84-page number was edited by the executive committee of the new Dartmouth Navy Alumni Association and was largely written and produced by the trainees of the V-12 Unit.

The table of contents for the first issue included an explanation of the new Dartmouth Navy Alumni Association, feature articles by trainees and faculty, numerous candid camera shots of the Navy staff and faculty, summaries of sports and college news, and personal items about former Navy and Marine trainees, as well as about staff members.

The issue was mailed to some 2300 former Dartmouth V-13 students and was distributed to all present members of the Unit. No regular publication schedule for the Navy issue has been set, but the executive
