THE DARTMOUTH CLUB OF CENTRAL OHIO had its annual spring dinner meeting on Friday, March 30, at the Seneca Hotel, Columbus.
Of 32 members in service, 19 turned out. Among the regulars missing, Ken Sater '21 had to be out of town; and Milo Clapp '25 was down with flu. Welcomed back to the fold after some absence were Sumner Dennett 15, and Ralph Lazarus '35. Lt. Dan McMillen '41 came in from Lockbourne Air Base with guest Lt. B. M. Hendershot. We hope to see them both again soon.
Pres. Searles Morton '17 appointed Al English '15 Chairman of the Nominating Committee. The following slate was submitted and elected:—President, Al Chandler '08, Vice President, Bill Webster '39, Secretary, R. D. Webster '26, and Treasurer, Walt Heer '37.
Next we settled down to the Kodakrome Series of Navy V-12 at Hanover. Commentary read by Eric Vaughan '38, and answers by Ted Wilson '45, who took the course, added considerably to our enjoyment of this excellent program. Harold Burtt.'n then rallied all at the piano for a few of ye old hums. Bill Webster also contributed some interesting tid-bits of his recent test-flying.
By popular demand our next gathering will be a picnic, June 22. Beer by the retiring President. Wives and sweethearts, and ball playing children included. Greetings to our pals in the Military.
