DARTMOUTH CLUB OF CENTRAL OHIO gathered for a dinner meeting at the Seneca Hotel in Columbus on Friday, November 10, to observe Dartmouth Night.

Very much missed were our thirty members serving in the military. To them we send all best greetings, and sincere wishes for their early return. Representing them at our gathering was Ted Wilson '45 of the Navy, stationed at O.S.U. We were also glad to welcome Lt. Blair Warner '38, assigned here with the Army Engineers.

Another newcomer, who we hope will be a permanent resident is Ed Atkinson '28. The balance of the group included most of the regulars. However we were deprived of Dr. Eckstorm '9B and Al Chandler 'OB, on account of sickness, and George Babcock '24 and Bill Webster '39 on account of travel.

Dusty Griffin '28 provided a real future, with several Restricted. Military sound films of some recent combat actions, taken from all the war theatres." For some of us, it was about the closest contact we've had with battle. Again we are indebted to our Curtiss-Wright members for a mighty interesting contribution.

It is hoped that any alumni in the military located here will advise the writer at Toledo Scale Company; We hope next Dartmouth Night maybe observed in a better world.
