Brig. General Henry C. Pillsbury '02, commanding general of the Thayer General Hospital, Nashville, Tenn., relinquished his command of the hospital recently and retired from the Army on May 31.
A tribute to the general appeared in the hospital paper, Thayer Fare, which also quoted the following editorial on the general from the Nashville Banner:
"Under his leadership, Thayer General Hospital has become a military facility living up to its name and its highest purpose. That leadership is valued, as the institution is valued, by the community and the personnel that has assisted General Pillsbury in his eminent service."
