DARTMOUTH MEN FROM THE WORLD OVER are now swelling the ever increasing attendance of the Tuesday luncheons at the Hotel Annapolis in this International Capitol and joining with such regulars as Dick White '18, Herb Woods '10, George Morris '11, Ted .Stafford '11, Bob Mosely '04, Norm Russell '06, and Henry Blair '89 whose weekly presence have made this organization so successful over the years.

President Mac Johnson '21, continues to present a wealth of interesting programs to these luncheons. On March 27 a particularly large group, representing classes spread over the past 50 years, welcomed Sherman Adams 'so, newly elected Member of Congress, and heard him discuss that bond existing among Dartmouth men of all generations, and the great need of a common denominator of interests among people of this country today. Unfortunately, the vote on the important May Bill, suddenly called up for that afternoon, prevented the complete attendance of the growing Dartmouth Congressional delegation in the House and Senate from hearing their colleague from New Hampshire. Again on April 24, extra chairs had to be brought out to the luncheon tables when Donald P. "King" Cole '19, of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, hobbyist with a professional touch in Kodachrome movies, showed his collection of Dartmouth pictures spread over the years 1940 to 1944, depicting the transition from the peace-time College to the V-12 activities as a Navy Training Unit. On June 12, Sydney A. Clark 'l2, well-known author, will speak on "How Good are Our Good Neighbors."

The Club is happy to welcome former Secretary-Treasurer, Barry Sullivan '36, back to Washington after a mission to LaFayette, Ind., for several months. He was immediately restored to his former activities, relieving Hub Harwood '26, who had acted for him during the absence, to take over the post of Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, vacated by hard working, Chuck Engstrom '3l, recently moved to a Chesapeake Bay farm.

Hal Fitz '23, completed arrangements for the annual Spring Dinner on May 25 at the Statler Hotel. He put together a magnificient program including1 Hon. Joseph W. Martin Jr., Representative of Massachusetts and Minority Leader of the House, as guest of honor; William H. McCarter 'l9, Director of Athletics, and Bill Cunningham 'l9, Columnist Extraordinary, just returned from the San Francisco Conference, as speakers.

To insure that all alumni who are residing in Washington and vicinity receive notices of meetings, it would be appreciated if those who maintain official college mailing addresses outside of the city, notify Barry Sullivan, c/o Harry L. Grant, 1029 Vermont Avenue, N. W., Washington, D. C., of their local address.
