THE DARTMOUTH WOMEN'S CLUB OF BOSTON has added $500 to its Loan Fund this year. The generous gift was accepted in behalf of the College by Wm. Stuart Messer, Daniel Webster Professor of the Latin Language and Literature, at a Boston luncheon meeting. The Loan Fund was established by the Club in 1932 to be used at the discretion of officers of the College for undergraduate aid. It has been continued since then by annual contributions from the club, ranging from 1500 to SIOOO. In the 13 years the Loan Fund has been available to the College, the Dartmouth Women's Club of Boston has raised $9,500 for it, through voluntary subscriptions and other means.
