THERE are so many Wah-hoo-Wahs to be given below this month that we are somewhat pinched for space, but we're always willing to be thus confined when it permits the recording of such an impressive list of achievements by Dartmouth men. It is frequently said that Dartmouth today has reached the full flower of its historic promise, and the growing roster of the College's sons in positions of responsibility and public service certainly supports that view; but we like to believe, and in fact we do believe, that the greatest days are yet to come.
On this cool summer morning, with the elm-shaded campus at its beauteous best, we feel like giving a Wah-hoo-Wah for everyone and everything connected with Dartmouth. And this would be topped off with an extra loud Indian Yell for all who had a hand in this year's stupendous Alumni Fund—class agents, contributors, newsletter editors, Alumni Council, and the busy beavers of 304 Parkhurst Hall. Our academic colleagues have always looked upon the Dartmouth Alumni Fund results with amazement; this time, with $337,450 to think about, they will be goggle-eyed.
