President to Meet Western Alumni

PRESIDENT JOHN SLOAN DICKEY will be the guest of honor and speaker at ten alumni meetings in the west and southwest later this fall. Accompanied by Mrs. Dickey, he will visit Spokane, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles in November, according to the schedule below. Mrs. Dickey will return to Hanover early in December and the President will go from Southern California to Houston for a Dartmouth banquet there. He will then meet with alumni in Dallas, Tulsa, Kansas City, and Omaha, returning to Hanover on December 13. His fall itinerary will give Dartmouth's new President his first opportunity to meet with western and southwestern alumni. On October 9 President Dickey will address a state-wide gathering of Dartmouth alumni of Vermont at Scampini Hall, Barre, at 6:30. He will be accompanied by Dean Neidlinger and Albert I. Dickerson '30, director of admissions.
