A LARGE GROUP of loyal Dartmouth Alumni assembled at Niedersteins Restaurant, Lynbrook, L. I. on Dartmouth Night, October 25th, to enjoy fellowship and to formulate future policies and events for the club.
President R. Preuss '27 conducted the meeting. Discussion centered around a permanent meeting place. It was decided that a committee headed by Frank Rath '30 should find an ideal place centrally located on Long Island for future get-togethers. In order to build up an up-to-date mailing list of Long Island Alumni the following committee was appointed:
Mel Katz '33 of Hewlett, Doc. Wm. Lutz '35 of Garden City, John Wolff Jr. '33 of Hempstead, Ralph Martin '36 of Rockville Center. Dartmouth Men wishing to be notified of future events should contact this committee.
Jack Shaw '27 was named Head of Entertainment Committee. President Preuss announced the annual meeting for DECEMBER 4, 1946 at which time election of new officers will take place.
It is hoped for a good attendance at this meeting so that a real Post War Organization will get rolling again.
