THE School of American Craftsmen which has been in session in Hanover since January 1, 1945, will move to Alfred University at Alfred, N. Y., on July 1. There it will become part of a new Divi- sion of Fine and Hand Arts, connected with Alfred's Liberal Arts College. To stu- dents majoring in the Fine and Hand Arts courses, the degree of B.S. will be given at the end of a four-year course. At Alfred a new building will be used as an Arts Center, erected by funds that will be jointly raised by Alfred University and the American Craftsmen's Educational Council.
