Bridgeport

THIS is to advise that the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Bridgeport, Connecticut, will hold its first meeting of the fall season on Tuesday, September 16, at the University Club.

The guests of honor for the evening will be the men from Bridgeport and vicinity who are entering Dartmouth this September. We will have a total of 11 men in the Class of 1951.

The speaker of the evening for this occasion will be Mr. John Stirling, Class of '11, who is at present connected with This Week, Magazine Supplement New York Herald Tribune.

It is expected that a discussion will take place relative to a project which will be undertaken in order to raise funds. One idea that has been presented is to sponsor a tryout of a new play in a local theater prior to Broadway.

It is anticipated that there will be a large turnout for this initial meeting of the 1947-1948 season.
