A SPECIAL HOLIDAY MEETING OF THE DARTMOUTH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION of Bridgeport, Conn., was held on Saturday, January 3. This meeting had originally been scheduled for Saturday, December 27, but was postponed due to the heavy snowfall prevalent at that date.

This was a luncheon meeting held at the University Club in Bridgeport, and the attendance was excellent considering the extremely poor driving conditions prevailing in Bridgeport. There were roughly thirty present at the meeting.

The President, A 1 Jennings, presided. JackConners '14, a Regional Committee Chairman for the new Hopkins Center, presented a most interesting and heartwarming talk on this project. Steve Balogh '51 spoke on his first-semester impressions at Dartmouth. Steve spoke on the famous Dartmouth spirit, stating that it had made a tremendous impression upon him. Jack Storrs 'lB, president of the State Alumni Association, spoke relative to the forthcoming State Meeting, which is to be held in Bridgeport sometime during the month of May. This talk dealt mainly with general arrangements for this meeting.

The next meeting will be held Wednesday, February 11, at the University Club. The guest speaker will be Professor Allen Foley.
