Professors Leon B. Richardson '00 and Andrew J. Scarlett '10 have just published a fourth edition, rewritten and much revised, of General College Chemistry.

The Exoskeleton of Tremataspis, by Professor Robert H. Denison, appears in the June issue of the American Journal of Science.

Professor Sidney C. Hazel ton '12 in collaboration with Mr. C. A. Pulis, has published a revised, enlarged edition of Diving Manualfor Instructors. This has been mimeographed as a brochure of 45 pages.

The July issue of the Thoreau Society Bulletin contains an article Values in Thoreau by Professor Herbert F. West '22. This is a condensation of a lecture delivered by Professor West at the annual meeting of the Thoreau Society in Concord, July 12th.

The Year Book {1946) of the NationalCouncil for the Social Studies, edited by Richard E. Thursfield '31, contains articles by Mr. Thursfield, Erling Hunt '21 and Professor Robert E. Riegel.

The Place of a Collegiate School of Business in its Community is the title of a paper read by Dean Herluf V. Olsen as. a part of the Second Centennial Education Conference of the School of Business and Civic Administration of the City College of New York, May 23-24.

Professor Jose M. Arce is the editor of Manuel Gonzalez Zeledon (Magon)-Cuentos, published as Seccion Literatura y Arte No. 1, in San Jose, Costa Rica, This book of 329 pages contains a long introduction by Professor Arce.
