Last luncheon was June 11 with CedricFoster '24, a former roommate of Gerry Wood '24, holding all hands spellbound. We could feel Old Joe's breath on our necks as we solemnly walked away. Orm Birkland '43 hooked at last—Joan Packard—"no definite plans," etc. Harry Litzenberger '32 presided over recent Wild West tribute to Bill Cody. Don Jones '43 to marry Susan Brown soon.
Bruce Carson '51 played halfback on Denver All-Star team. Bill Grant '31 elected President of Denver's Charter Convention. MartinBrusse '49 engaged to Barbara Anne Cheley. Thomas R. Clark '17, a most welcome newcomer with Held & McCoy Machinery Company, was introduced to The Great Divide by P. A. Alexander '15. Bill Spinney '41 of Milwaukee expects to move to Denver—any offers? Thad Smith '31 moved his law practice from Boston to Denver, now with Joe Pender. Dick Campbell '40 and family in town from California.
STUDENT LUNCHEON will be September 19. We expect all of the under-graduates from this area. Also on the fire: a fall picnic with wives, etc., invited.
