BACK AGAIN AFTER a hot and busy Washington summer! Running over the highlights of the summer of 1947, we first want to mention how happy we were to welcome many undergraduates to our Tuesday Luncheon Meetings during this vacation. Such fellows as Jim Birney (who entered a recognition-by-Coach plea for the wrestling team) and JimFinn, to mention just a few, put in pleasant appearances.

A comparison with last year's record shows our summer attendance was maintained at a much higher level than any year heretofore. The fall attendance figures also show a decided jump over a year ago and two years ago. We have plenty of room and good food at the New Athens, so let's keep the attendance figure mounting.

A busy fall schedule is planned, with Dartmouth Night and the annual Cornell-Dartmouth Luncheon the first big events.

Princeton Smoker There will be the annual Princeton-Dartmouth smoker the night before the Princeton game, November 21, to be held as usual at the Jo Jefferson Club, Saddle River Road, Ridgewood, N. J. All Dartmouth men in northern . New Jersey are cordially invited.
