ON Tuesday, April 2, an unusually large turnout at the weekly Annapolis luncheon met and heard from two illustrious sons serving that week on the board which was investigating the so-called "caste" system in the Army. These two men were Meryll Frost '44 and Captain Adna H. Underhill '36. To their report on the doings of their Inquiry, Frost added a brief picture of post-war Hanover and 1946 football prospects.
Three Tuesdays later, April 23, George M. Morris '11 gave a very fine report on the highly successful Alumni Dinner recently held in New York City. He concluded with a minute and highly praiseworthy description of President Dickey.
And on April 30 a proud and victorious bowling team presented the Club with two trophies—one of which has been permanently retired after three successive yearly wins. These cups were given for custody to Mr. Henry P. Blair '89, George M. Morris '11, and Frederick L. Pearce '15. Members of the bowling team were: C. M. Brand '26, C. H. Milans '33, E. S. Mecutchen '31, J. D. Pendleton '15, N. P. Worthington '33, and W. F. Yelverton '36.
