Eighty-eight has lost another of its members, and the belated news of the passing of Frederick Harrison Chase on Aug. 9, 1947, is noted in "In Memoriam." Chase took great interest in the College and his class, and could always be depended upon at reunions. As he was one of the two bachelors of the class he was always appointed Chairman of the Ladies' Committee, and through his interest, nothing was ever lacking for the ladies of '88 in the way of comfort and entertainment at these many gatherings.
William Short, son of Wallace Short, now has his own airconditioning business and is located in New York City.
On one o£ his frequent business trips to Boston, Wendell Williams found time to call upon your Secretary. Williams has made a good recovery from his illness of a year ago.
