A surprised Secretary answered a doorbell ring recently and was cordially greeted by Wallace Short Jr., Commander in the U.S. Navy. He was accompanied by his wife and small daughter. His ship, a carrier, is undergoing repairs at Charlestown Navy Yard, and his temporary residence is Arlington Mass. 'BB classmates would instantly recognize the strong resemblance in looks of the son to his good father as well as his genial friendship.

Through mutual friends who have just returned from Winter Park, Fla., we learn that Newton 'B6 has just left the hospital after a successful eye operation. Also Pattee, fearing he might catch some ailment, has already hiked to the mountains of West Virginia to attend to his spring fishing and will remain there for the summer.

Secretary, 135 Summer St., Maiden, Mass.

Treasurer and Class Agent, 32 Claflin St., Milford, Mass.
