Dr. Robert F. Leavens, educator, writer, former minister of the First Unitarian Church (Berkeley, Calif.) (Bob, to us) and nationally known as an outstanding figure in Unitarian ism, was recently honored by the Church, when he was unanimously named Minister Emeritus.

In his tribute to Bob, Dr. Cope declared that the recognition of his distinguished service was far reaching and will meet with approval wherever his influence has been felt. It was observed that he had made a definite contribution to all phases of community life, religious, civic, educational, cultural. With a great capacity for understanding, his voice has ever been lifted in behalf of the less privileged. To all this Bob Leavens' classmates most heartily agree.

"Boy" Haskell reports a new grandson, Frederick Keyes Haskell, born Thanksgiving Day, 1946, a total of seven grandchildren, five girls and two boys The Warren Ruggs are also enjoying Florida sunshine, and on their way South, stopped over in Richmond for a delightful visit with the Charlie Howes..... "Alfie" Salinger suffered a nervous breakdown about nine months ago, and has been in a sanatarium in Los Angeles. It is hoped the doctors have now been able to diagnose his trouble definitely, and that he will soon be back to his old self again.
