Clarence Moulton, dean of our living members, observed his 89th birthday on September 29.

Orin Francis Perry III, grandson of HardyFerguson, has recently been appointed Port Captain of Panama City. He was at our rendezvous in Hanover last June, present at which were our Class President "Ferg," Harryand Mrs. Frost, Mrs. Burt Redfield and your scribe. A group photograph was taken at that time in which were included, in addition to our three '89 men, Gage, Hadlock, Howland and Sanborn, all '87 men back for their 65th reunion, and Henry Austin '85.

Your secretary was in Hanover at the Inn October 3 and 4 attending a Bequest Program Meeting.

The Postmaster of Santa Ana, Calif., recently reported that our non-communicative, non-graduate classmate Alexander P. Nelson still lives at 808 North Parton Street in Santa Ana. "Alec" was born in Mclndoes Falls, Vt., July 9, 1866.

Robert D. Warden, son of our late classmate, is executive editor of the Great Falls (Mont.) Tribune. He was appointed by President Truman May 29 last to the permanent grade of commander in the Naval Reserve. Last July Warden returned to Great Falls from a training period at the Naval War College at Newport, R. I.

Late in September your secretary, while on a motor trip with friends through the White Mountains, made a short call upon Mrs. Burt Redfield at her mountain retreat near Conway, N. H. That she is well known through- out the Passaconaway Valley was abundantly shown in our interviews with local inhabitants in our effort to locate her cabin abode. Late in the summer Mrs. Redfield visited the Frosts at their summer home, "Camp Dartmouth," on Crystal Lake, in Gilmanton, N. H.
