Editorial Board

To assist the editors with the preparation of the monthly editorial section which starts on the preceding page, a special Editorial Board has been newly created. The ALUMNI MAGAZINE takes great pleasure in announcing the Board's membership of Hugh Morrison '26, Professor of Art; Daniel Marx Jr. '29, Assistant Professor of Economics; Roy P. Forster, Assistant Professor of Zoology; and Thomas W. Braden '40, Instructor in English. Prof. John Hurd '21, Associate Editor of the MAGAZINE, and the Editor will also be members of this new group which will select topics for editorial discussion and assign the writing to those members whose knowledge or interest best qualify them for it. Editorials will be signed and will represent individual rather than "official" points of view.

Mr. Braden has contributed editorials in two earlier issues, and this month Professor Morrison, in his analysis of President Conant's proposed two-year colleges, offers another example of the added value and distinction which the editors believe the new Board members will bring to the MAGAZINE'S editorial pages.
