The Flower section in the 1936 edition of the Encyclopaedia Britannica with the exception of the paragraphs on commercial flower growing—has been revised and brought up to date by Professor Carl L. Wilson.

The Columbia Dictionary of Modern European Literature published by the Columbia University Press contains nine articles in the field of Belgian literature by Professor Leon Verriest.
