THE SPRING MEETING of the Charles River Club of Dartmouth was held April 10 at the Wellesley Country Club. Alumni from the neighboring towns of Wellesley, Needham, Weston and Natick gathered in the club's taproom to participate in a Wheelock Tavern party and to enjoy Dartmouth music furnished by a popular accordion player. At the business meeting the following were elected as officers for the coming year. President—Richard C. Litchfield '22; SecretaryJohn L. Lutz Jr. '38, Treasurer—Norman W. Erlandson '33; with an executive committee composed of Herbert S. Austin '14; John T. Griffin '24; Vincent E. Wentworth '36; Gordon C. Plummer '44; Howard F. Sherman '23; Richard B. Sanders '29; Josiah B. Chandler '30; David A. Perry '24; George W. Newman '25, and Morgan C. Marshall '38.

The speaker of the evening was CharlesCamp '42, former Big Green football player and now Assistant to the Dean, who brought us up to date on Hanover activities. Following his interesting talk the club witnessed the showing of the latest Dartmouth film, "Green Flashback," depicting post war life in Hanover, together with two other recent films on Dartmouth affairs. At the conclusion of the movies refreshments were served. There has been considerable talk among the members about the possibility of an outing this summer with another of the more active clubs in the metropolitan area. A joint affair such as this should prove a highly entertaining party and the executive committee will see if the arrangements can be made in the near future.
