OUR ANNUAL Spring meeting with a speaker from Hanover in April was enjoyed especially this year because of the way CharlieWidmayer, editor of this MAGAZINE, depicted life at the College for us.

After noting the general complexity of unprecedented and unexpected problems, he outlined Dartmouth's future plans. The group was particularly interested in his presentation of the new educational spirit at Dartmouth being brought about through President Dickey's aim to make Dartmouth men definitely keyed to public responsibilities.

Next large affair on our agenda will be the June outing. Unofficial plans at this time call for a Softball game, swimming, and picnicking in some selected and secluded spot in the country not far from the city limits with wives and sweethearts in attendance. Bob Moyer is making arrangements.

New officers will be elected soon. A nominating committee comprising Don Mason, BillGrant, and Bob Hazard was asked to make a report at the May meeting on the 21st. After learning at the last meeting that Don Mason owns a 16 mm projector, this secretary got busy and wrote to Hanover for some films which will be featured at the May meeting.
