Central New Jersey

THE ANNUAL MEETING of the Central New Jersey club was held on June 6 at the Carteret Club in Trenton. The meeting was well attended and a good time was had by all.

The nominating committee of Richard J. S.Barlow '14, George W. Lee '28 and A. JamesO'Mara '42 brought in the following nominations which were approved by the club for the year 1947-1948:

Officers: President, Henry S. Proctor '13: Vice-President, George W. Lee '28; Treasurer, Monroe W. Taylor '45; and Secretary, ArthurJ. O'Mara '09.

Executive Committee: Ivan Prowattam '18, Victor E. Sabavy '36, J. Edward Knight '27, R. LeRoy Height '23 and George H. Barlow '43.

The following "out of towners" were present: Dr. Joseph R. Pierson '2sm, Hopewell; Homer B. Hill '18, Flemington; Dr. Daniel F.Featherston '19, Asbury Park; Robert B. Tapper '41, Red Bank; R. LeRoy Height '23, New Brunswick; Van Wie Ingham '27, New Brunswick: and Dr. Henry Haywood '14, New Brunswick.

George Barlow '43 had a guest for the meeting, his classmate and track captain, PaulHanlon.

Eddie Knight and Robert H. Maida '35 promise us a swell shore meeting late in the summer.
