During the summer months the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Long Island prepared a gala welcome for President John Sloan Dickey on Friday, September 17, at the Garden City Hotel. Ed Warnke '19, chairman of the arrangements committee, reports that the initial response has been just short of terrific. We know that next month's news will report this as the biggest Long Island affair to date.
President John Shaw '27 has travelled farthest this summer by taking his family out to Californa. He says that it is nice there, but Long Island is still good enough for him.
Bill Coulson '18 is well on the mend now and is looking forward to being with us September 17. Bill Coulson Jr. '40 sends word from Sao Paulo, Brazil, that a new member has arrived in his family; this time on the co-ed side.
Word has it from Hanover that the following Indians have migrated to the Long Island Reservation during the past few months: Henry Fowler '17, Frank Hankins Jr. '18, Herman Goodman '32, Larry Hull '38, Larry Vulti '39, Tom Ballantyne '40, and Art Livermore '46.
See you at the next meeting, fellows.
